Blundstone Celebrates 150th Anniversary With Limited-Edition #150 Boot

When it comes to timeless style and quality craftsmanship, the Tasmanian artisans at Blundstone certainly sit at the top of our list when it comes to footwear. And given that this year the brand is celebrating 150 years of operation, it’s quite fitting they’d drop a limited-edition masterpiece. Meet the #150 Boot.

Originally founded by John Blundstone in 1870, Blundtsone has since solidified itself as one of the premier bootmakers in the game. And to this day, it remains entirely family owned and operated in Tasmania, with its founders’ vision and values at the forefront of its operation.

“Our 150 Anniversary boot celebrates our heritage of quality and craftsmanship and understated design,” says Joe Carfora, global lifestyle range manager for Blundstone. “Modeled on our legendary #500 boot, the supple, auburn leather upper draws on inspiration from the wilderness of our island home. The lining elevates this boot above our existing range in honor of the occasion. Our #150 is a true collector’s item!”

That lining he’s referring to is stamped and screen printed. These boots are refined, handsome, and sure to age beautifully. They also feature a dignified “150” embossed into the outer heel in honor of the milestone, as well as on the signature pull tabs. Each of the thoughtful accents on these boots are wonderfully designed, and none compromise the real-world capability that Blundstone boots were founded on.
